Yoga is a powerful practice capable of transforming you on every level. There is growing evidence of the power of yoga in healing the body, calming the mind and soothing the spirit. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and supple and assists in the management of many health conditions. Yoga has guided my life and provided health, steadiness, meaning and clarity.

My Mum first introduced me to yoga when I was a teenager and I would regularly look at her yoga books and copy the poses, at that time it was fun to see what I could and couldn’t do.

Since then I have studied yoga both here and overseas and had the opportunity to learn from many great teachers. Yoga has helped me to heal many health issues including PCOS and chronic fatigue syndrome and also ensured that I had two healthy pregnancies. I started to teach in London in 2000 and have continued to teach and learn since then. I continue to train in the Iyengar System under Senior Teacher Glenn Ceresoli.

Iyengar Yoga provides a thorough and safe method for practicing yoga. It is a system that is accessible to all practitioners irrespective of age, ability or condition. The student is encouraged to practice intelligently with a focus on alignment and correct technique.

Yoga classes: Held at “The Living Well Studio” 6.00am and 9.30am Wednesday’s, 9.00am and 10.30am Friday.
