Personal Sessions

Therapy provides a place for you to explore what is working and what is not working in your life. During sessions you have an opportunity to really look deeply into where you feel stuck or lost and try new ways of looking at the problem.

In our culture therapy is still judged as something we don’t need, however, therapy is so beneficial it provides support and tools to help you with any aspect of your life, from making big career decisions to relationships, to how you care for your health.

In a session, we will discuss where you feel stuck, confused or unhappy in your life and we will then look into beliefs, behaviors or patterns of thinking and being that are keeping you stuck. It is amazing how discussing your issue and looking at it from different angles and perspectives helps you to come up with a solution.

Neuroscience is also proving that just getting in touch with your feelings and talking about them is enough to positively rewire your brain, and help create better outcomes for your health and your life.

Personal Sessions: Dates and session times will be co-ordinated at time of booking. I have 60min and 90min sessions and the sessions are held in the Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast or Skype sessions are available.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy involves working with different mediums including crayons, pencils, collage, clay, paint you name it. Art therapy provides a different way to express yourself and is a very gentle, yet powerful form of therapy.

Initiatic Art Therapy uses a wide variety of art making approaches such as working with paint, crayons, collage, sculpting and clay and incorporates Somatic Experiencing, Jungian Depth Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, meditation and bodywork.

The name “initiatic” is derived from the term initiation, the awakening of inner perception. Gradually one becomes aware of subtle body sensations, inner urges, impulses and ideas that begin to shape a more genuine source of identity than the conditioned “shoulds” of learned behaviour.

Initiatic Art Therapy has the potential to initiate this process that unfolds like quest towards healing, creativity, meaning and love.’ Cornelia Elbrecht.

Gestalt Therapy

My aim as a Gestalt Therapist is to support you in becoming more aware of yourself, your patterns, stuck places, beliefs and behaviors.

As you become more aware of your body, mind spirit and environment you become better able to create vivid meaningful experiences for yourself, you live from the inside out rather than the outside in- you make choices about the life you want to live rather than life pushing you around.

This approach encourages feeling and experiencing life in the now- we work with whatever comes up in the moment.

Equine Therapy

These sessions I work alongside the horses that co-facilitate and support both you and me in the session.

These beings amaze me with their insight, empathy and wisdom; they give clear and direct feedback about how we behave around and towards them.

These sessions involve being in the paddock or just outside the paddock observing, being with and relating to the horses.

They provide a space of unconditional regard and acceptance whilst also  giving us opportunities to try out new behaviors and ways of being.
